Looking forward, looking Backward

Suddenly, the heat of love jostled them Awake.
Like the African morning Sun rising over the Eastern Lake.
“Hurry”, Kola called. “We’ve got the Sun to Mettle.”
“Yes”, Tola Teased. “We shall better the Eagles.”
Kola scrambled for the Purple.
Tola grappled the Apple-scuttle.
Saddled, girdled, bridled
They rattled the dappled down the Rubbles.
Skimble-Skamble, Skimble-Skamble,
They fuddled the Trembled.
Gentli tickli, timeli knuckli,
They crackled the Gaggles
Like soldiers they tackled the Battles
Ruffled Purple, Brittled Apples
Reached they, The Golden Pinnacle
The wrinkled, dimpled, feebled couple
Have cradled the Turtle
Looking back they giggled the Riddles.

(A happy married life is after all, like a riddle).
